Working with Aluminum
Profile cutting instructions to prevent burrs:
Use a metal, 14 inch diameter circular saw blade that is 3.3 mm or 2.8 mm wide and that has 92 carbide-tipped teeth.
For production cutting, the saw cutting rate should be approximately 28 m per minute (maximum) and the saw blade rotation speed should be approximately 2500 RPM.
Removing burrs and sharp edges:
When cutting or drilling aluminum profiles, some burrs may still occur. These can be easily removed with a fine metal file moving in smooth, continuous motion along the edge with the sharp edges or burrs.
