Occasionally production lines require the ability to accumulate product.  This can be because of line stoppage or various cycle times in the processes.  Sometimes the product needs to be accumulate in a first in first out (FIFO) or in a last in first out (LIFO) fashion; and yet other times it does not matter how product is discharged as long as line speeds are met. 

mk North America has a solution for all of these possibilities.  Aside from our standard accumulating turntable (series DTZ-P 2040) we offer a wide variety of highly customized bi-flow (or bi-directional) accumulation tables.  These accumulation tables are designed using one of our many standard conveyor lines and features various belts and chains; specifically designed with your application in mind.  Common conveyor surfaces for bi-flow accumulation tables include plastic modular belting and steel flat top chain.  Our bi-flow accumulation tables can be designed with two or more lanes of product transportation, with every other line running in the same direction.  The actual size of the accumulation table provided will depend on your requirements – from the number of products being accumulated, to available floor space, shape and material of product, LIFO or FIFO, and how product is being introduced and exited from bi-flow accumulation table. 

mk North America supplies their bi-flow accumulation tables mechanically complete.  This means that all of the end transfers and transitions between lanes are provided for.  In order to ship you, the customer; the most complete and compatible system we do ask that part samples be sent prior to shipping.  This allows your unit to be run, fully tested and debugged on our floor be shipping out to you.
